At their recent meeting at Cleveleys Masonic Hall, Normoss Round Table Lodge No. 8741 was delighted to have the company of Ted Rhodes, Regional Charity Steward, and Duncan Smith, North Fylde Group chairman.
Ted explained the details behind the 2021 Masonic Festival and a number of interesting facts to help the brethren appreciate its purpose. Ted was also able to give Ray Hargreaves, the Lodge Charity Steward, some pointers on managing the festival reporting that is necessary for all lodges during this Festival.
The master of the lodge, Alan Berwick was delighted to present a cheque to Ted Rhodes for £4500, which enables the lodge to become a Grand Patron of the Festival. Ted thanked the brethren for their generosity and support.
During the evening, several members showed their individual support by purchasing the Steward’s Jewel. Alan Berwick concluded ”everyone in the lodge wishes the Festival great success in its run and we are delighted to do our part to support it both today and going forward for the duration of the Festival”.
